Minecraft: Pocket Edition Demo is an Android application that allows users to test out certain features of the Minecraft game on their mobile device. It's perfect for users who are not sure whether or not they'll enjoy the full game.

Users are able to play in a single world for one hundred minutes, or about five days in game. After that, the map will automatically lock and will need to be reset. At this point, users will either have to restart the entire world or buy the full version of the game for unrestricted access.

In the pocket edition, users are able to construct objects, hunt animals, build structures, or explore randomly generated universes. Just like the regular Minecraft game, users can either play in Survival mode or Creative mode.

In Creative mode, users have unlimited access to resources and won't be outright attacked by roaming creatures. By contrast, Survival mode features many predatory animals, dangerous night time occurrences, and other events may occur that result in death.

Players are able to collect coal, stones, wood, and precious stones in order to craft high quality items. As users grow more experienced, it's easier to build complex structures, make durable items, and obtain wealth.

The Minecraft pocket demo is essentially the same in every way to the real version. However, unlike the real game, users can start off at a random point in the world - including in the middle of the ocean. This may result in frequent restarts and some users consider it a slight bug.

Of course, since this is just a demo version, it's difficult for players to truly get the full experience of the Minecraft game. Frequent restarts will cause essentially all progress to be lost every one hundred minutes, which means users are functionally unable to acquire real wealth, resources, or build the most complex structures.

In short, the game is purely meant to give skeptical consumers to chance to try out Minecraft for themselves.
